2010.12.29 Identity

關於 Identity ，個人認為各族原住民和外來移民也應建立起自己族群的自信並努力贏得大族群（閩裔、客裔、中國籍）的肯定，例如介紹自己時就講清楚自己是布農族，而不是含糊地說「原住民」。

另一方面，而我們在稱少數族群時，也應該精確到族名而不是統稱，例如「布農族男子...」而不是「原住民男子...」

這樣做意義何在？因為這是在多元族群共存環境中應有的互相尊重。

2010.12.29 簡論金門

解嚴之後的金門在現代文化方面是跟台灣這邊一樣的

不過它的歷史比台灣悠久；儒家文化盛行；也就是「關係」

很重要。

景觀倒是非常特別（閩南古厝、南洋式豪宅、高粱田、牛群

、橫行全島的八哥鳥...）。

污染性工業極少，最大的工業是酒類製造。

就國際法的觀點，金門和馬祖、台澎一樣屬於二戰後主權未決地區，似應以住民自決方式決定獨立或依附其他國家，不過因環伺列強的利益糾葛，台澎金馬想要住民自決，還有一段長路要走。

金門人就是金門人！這是金門人的 Identity 。

不過，以下的題目我很好奇：

（這是社會學性的瞭解，不是在挑動族群意識喔）

現代的金門人，特別是二戰之後出生的金門人，

1）認為/認同自己是台灣人？或認同自己是中國人

2）金門人在國外如何說明自己的來處、自己是哪「國」人？

2.1） I come from Kinmen, a place ...（說明）

2.2） I come from Taiwan.

2.3） I come from Republic of China, ...（說明）

2010.12.19 Sliding down from Y.T. Mt.

My folding bike

One day an idea struck me on the head: sliding down Yang-Ming Mountain by a bike might be fun?

The first experience done from a bus terminal at Y.T. Mt. down Yang-de avenue to Soochaw Univ. prove a joyful trip. It was only 10 minutes of sliding, though, I want more.

There are several choices to get that fun and seems a half day ~ 1 day could be done. After

rough planning, 2010.12.19 I took on a bus up to Y.T. Mt. Park again.

Going to Jin-Shan

My goal was from top of the mountain down to Jin-Shan. There would be the longest sliding to maximum the excitement. 14:15 I unfolded the bike and all ready to go! But, soon after I began the trip I found that actually I made several terrible mistakes.

A. I wore too much. It was hot, more than 25 degree C.

B. I didn't expect a killing long distance of up-climbing from the bus terminal to the top.

It took me 15 minutes of all sweat-ed bike climbing to give up and then I took a break at Y.M. Mt. Visitor's Center.

Plan B, turning to Bei-Tou

Well, a few mistakes did not draw me back much. Plan B was to turn back and slide to Bei-tou. Nothing could stop me from fulfilling my tremendous ambition! You won't find a word "difficulty" in my dictionary.

You don't find word in my dictionary? Okay then, MY dictionary itself showed "difficulty" to me when I rushed sliding about 50 meters and saw a bunch of Road-side food stands.

Immediately a strong gust of hunger overwhelmed me and drove me to the stands.

A hungry beggar doesn't choose but hungry me ate stingy tofu and meat-ball soup.

When I had my stomach satisfied, my camera began complaining that it had not met any pretty girl all this way. I couldn't help but bringing it to a stand co-held by 2 young girls. They are ... truly very pretty!!
